Army Law College

The Army Law College was set up in the year 2018 under the guidance of the Army Education Welfare Trust (AWES) by the Indian Army. The institute has been accredited by the BCI and has been affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

To generate employable and ethical lawyers which are equipped with global competence, skills, values, ethics, and knowledge is the ultimate goal of the college. The institute offers the 5-years integrated BBA LL. B program to the students. The college focuses on a learner-centric approach that boosts reflective and critical thinking of the students and makes them ethical lawyers.

All admissions are strictly based on the merit secured by the students in the MAH – LL. B (5 years) CET Examination. After applying for the MAH - LL. B (5 years) CET Exam, the candidates can apply online for the admission to ALC, Pune.

Admission Procedure:  For admission to the college, the candidates have to follow the given steps:

• The candidates have to apply online for the MAH - LL. B (5 Years) CET exam through the official website of the Maharashtra State CET Cell.
• Then the Online Application Registration form for the admission in ALC, Pune has to be filled.

• The final step of the admission procedure includes the Online Counseling and Confirmation of Admission. Once the results are declared of MAH - LL. B (5 years) CET Exam, then the candidates will have to appear for the counseling and if they are allotted a seat, then they have to confirm the admission by the payment of the fee.

*Note: Filling up the application form before the CET result declaration is compulsory as any form that would be incomplete after the result, will be considered rejected. 

Eligibility

The candidate seeking admission must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board / institution with at least 50% marks with any stream. Students of the following categories can apply:

• Children of serving army personnel who have at least 10 years of continuous service in the Indian army or retired / discharged after 10 years of service / released / disabled in action / died during service / killed in action / medically boarded out with pension.
• Step children of army personnel born from a registered marriage where at least one parent belonged to the army / adopted children of army personnel who have been adopted at least 5 years prior to the start of the course.
• Children of Army Medical Corps, Navy Medical Establishment, Army Dental Corps Officers serving in Air Force, MNS, APS, or TA personnel.

The Army Welfare Education Society provides certain scholarships to the students, namely:

• Educational Scholarship Scheme for Serving Army Personnel (ESSA)
• Educational Concessions are provided to the wards of killed, missing, or permanently disabled army personnel.
• Rajput Regiment Best Student Rolling Trophy & Scholarship is provided to the students with an overall best performance in an entire academic year.
• The Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) is awarded to the wards of widows / deceased / ex-service personnel of Armed Forces, Railway Protection Force, and Para Military Forces. This is funded out of the National Defence Fund which is administered by the Prime Minister’s Office.
