Srushti Degree College

Affiliated with the Bangalore North University, the Srushti Degree College has been set up in the year 2011. Co-creation, integrity, and empathy are the values that the college imparts among the students. Their aim is to educate and enable the students to contribute to the society. The teaching-learning process at the college is made to provide a mixture of theory and practical learning to the students.

The college offers Undergraduate and Certificate courses under various fields, namely:

• BVA in Animation and Media – 4 years
• BA in Journalism – 3 years
• B. Com. (Income Tax / Accounting / Financial Law / Finance) – 3 years
• BBA (Marketing Management / Human Resource Management) – 3 years
• Entrepreneur Certificate Program – 6 months
• Youth Social Innovation Certificate Program – 6 months

The college has adapted the NEP 2020 (National Education Policy) which enables the students with the freedom to opt for subjects of their choice and build a strong foundation of knowledge.

The institute also encompasses a Srushti Rasaa – A Youth Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell (YSIE) that provides a space for the social innovations in the college.

Any candidate interested in seeking admission to the Srushti Degree College must have completed 10 + 2 from any recognised board / institution or the PUC (Pre University Certificate) Examinations conducted by the Government of Karnataka. At least 60% aggregate marks in 10 + 2 or PUC is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission into any of the undergraduate or certificate programs.

Once a candidate has applied to any of the programs, there are certain requirements that the candidate must fulfill. They are as follows:

• Must submit the academic transcripts from the last attended institution
• Qualify the Aptitude test
• Submit the student portfolio (if any)

The institution provides numerous scholarships to the students to encourage and reward them. Interested students can apply for the scholarships at the time of admissions.

Scholarships are offered to the students that belong to an economically weak background, to provide them with equal opportunities for education. The basis on which the scholarship is provided is as follows:

• The candidate must have a minimum of 70% marks in PUC and must maintain a constant academic record.
• Must come from a background where the household income is less than 1.5 LPA.

Apart from this, a Merit cum Means scholarships is also provided to the students that have excellent performance in academics and belong to a financially backward background. The aim is to provide them with a bright career by providing them with equal opportunities of education.
