Mithibai College of Arts

Mithibai College has a Training and Placement Cell that comprises of a Placement Committee whose constituents are Placement Officer, Development Officer, Placement Faculties, and a core team of Student Coordinators. The cell conducts training programs and placement activities. It conducts soft skill training program in which it lays emphasis on English language, self and people management, and pre-placement package. It also provides internship opportunities to students. Besides, it conducts placement activities like guest lectures, interaction with industrial experts, mock interview sessions, etc.

It also conducts campus recruitment program in which various well known companies visit college campus for recruitment of students. Certain companies are Accenture, Kotak Life, TCS, Godrej Properties, Wipro, Deloitte, Aditya Birla Capital, Capgemini, etc.

Mithibai College, Mumbai has an excellent infrastructure with a friendly atmosphere. It has a lush green campus. The college is enabled with modern amenities. In college campus, apart from academics, various extracurricular activities are organised. It includes cultural programs, festival celebration, youth fest, dance, drama, music, fashion, NSS and NCC camps, etc.

All extracurricular activities are managed by student clubs and committees like cultural committee, nature club, sports club, etc. In college, students are also facilitated with various other facilities that are mentioned below:

• Classrooms: College has high-tech and air-conditioned classrooms that are furnished with good seating and lighting. These classrooms are also equipped with latest tools like smart board, LCDs, etc. for effective learning by the students.
• Auditoriums: College has an air-conditioned auditorium. It is well equipped with modern amenities like light and sound facilities. Various events, seminars, cultural programs, conferences, workshops, etc. are conducted here.
• Library: Library of college is stocked with a good collection of more than 60,000 textbooks, encyclopedia, journals, CDs, reference books, handbooks, periodicals, etc. College also has e-library facility for online resources.
• Sports Facility: College has a gymkhana for indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, and Carrom.
• Laboratories: College has spacious laboratories for experimental and research work. Some labs are high-tech and well equipped with latest apparatus and advanced equipment.
• Other Facilities: Lifts, Canteen, Healthcare Services, etc.
