Maharashtra State Skills University was established in 2022 by the Government of Maharashtra to provide holistic and integrated skill training to the individuals. It is a specialised university which was established to create highly employable and skilled youth, encourage job creation, and promote high quality education, training, employability, startups, counseling, placements, incubation, etc. to support backward communities and facilitate employment. MSSU is a State University which is approved by UGC.
Vision and Mission: It aims to develop entrepreneurial skills, build desirable skills, and make the students employable. The University is committed to advance knowledge amongst the students for up-skilling, re-skilling, providing foundation, and building future skills for transforming the students into future confident leaders.
Constituent units of MSSU through which different courses are provided to the students include:

MSSU provides placement opportunities to the students. The students are given training to upgrade their knowledge and skills as per the industries requirements. Mock interviews, group sessions, aptitude tests, pre-placement talks, seminars, conferences, guest lectures, etc. are conducted for the holistic development of the students.
