Since 1996, Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology has been committed to impart quality education to students. The campus of the institute is situated in Bangalore. In the year 2020-21, the institute became a part of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), which is a Deemed to be University to provide various UG and PG programs. The institute is accredited by NAAC and courses are approved by AICTE.

The admission process at the institute is according to the guidelines and rules set by the Srishti Manipal Institute Selection Committee. The institute divides students under “Academic Stream” and “Experience Stream.” Candidates who have graduated from high School / College / University and desire to pursue higher education at the institute come under the “Academic Stream” category. On the other hand, the “Experience Stream” category includes candidates who are presently working or have practice experience and wish to pursue higher education at the institute.

Aspirants under the “Experience Stream” have to register for the RPL procedure and get a certificate from an appropriate Sector Skill in line with National Skills Qualifications Framework NSQF. After finishing the application procedure, candidates can utilise the certificate to get qualified to sit for Srishti Manipal Entrance and Aptitude Test. This is only applicable to Indian candidates.

The Bangalore campus of Srishti Manipal provides a first-hand learning experience to the students through organising and developing technologies, materials, and procedures. Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology was established in 1996 to maximize the potential of students in the field of art and design. The institution came into existence with the efforts of Ujwal Trust. The multi-dimensional approach and commitment of Srishti Institute help to build competencies.

The institution is recognized as a partner of Transdisciplinary University (TDU) and the Research Center of Manipal Academy. Students are awarded doctoral degree either by Transdisciplinary University or Manipal Academy as per their choice during admissions.
Academia offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The three years UG technical program, four-year UG professional program, one-year PG diploma, a two-year PG program in Arts, and two-year PG professional program is offered by Bengaluru Central University and Mysore University. Manipal University offers doctoral and Research program degree. The doctoral program in Art and Design is offered by Institute of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences and technology.
For the undergraduate program, students need to fulfill minimum qualification in a given category. Under Category 1, the student must possess NSQF Level IV certification from CBSE, NIOS, or any recognized community or NSDC center. Category 2 includes NSQF Level IV certification from CBSE, NIOS, or any recognized community. Prior learning equivalent to level IV. Category 3 includes Internal and National Boards, State boards, Intermediate, Junior College, HSSC, Senior Secondary, PUC. NIOS- High School Diploma (Canada/USA).
The school also offers four semesters postgraduate program with a specialization in Contemporary Art Practices in Fine arts and Art Practices in Master of Arts. Candidate should have completed four years undergraduate degree from national and International universities/ Undergraduate four-year diploma in design from design institute/five-year undergraduate degree from professional institute.
Admission procedure for Undergraduate program affiliated to Bengaluru University Includes the submission of application form and completion of (SEAT) Srishti Entrance and Aptitude Test. Candidate has to declare and submit the proof MEQ (Minimum Educational Qualification).
Candidates seeking admission in Doctoral program are invited for the two-step entrance test. However, those who have successfully cleared Ph.D entrance recognized by UGC or UGC/CSIR NET, ICMR, DBT (JRF), DST (INSPIRE) or some other University’s entrance exam for Ph.D. are directly eligible for step 2. The final selection is made by appearing for an interview.
