Army Welfare Education Society with a vision of establishing a business institute renowned for professional excellence in the field of management laid the foundation of the Army Institute of Management in 1997 in Kolkata. An ISO 9001: 2015 Certificate is permitted to the institute and has affiliations from MAKAUT and approved by AICTE.
The purpose of the institute lies in empowering students by delving them into an educational procedure that consists of innovative, practical, and technological-driven management programs. The Institute has also been awarded with “The Skill Development Leadership Award 2023” at the World HRD Congress.
Admission can be taken to the institute based on the below-stated eligibility criteria:
Eligibility Criteria for Army Applicants (Must fall into either of the followed categories):
*Army personnel must have served a minimum of 10 years of service in the Army. For detailed information regarding the eligibility criteria under Army Category, please check the Admission Procedure section provided on the official website of the institute.
*About 80% of the admissions in the institute are of Army Personnel and the remaining 20% include general applicants.
Applicants who desire to get admission to the MBA program at the Army Institute of Management are required to fill up the Online Admission Form, which they can find in the “Admission” menu provided on the website. They must tap on the “Apply Online” sub-menu, which will take them to the Application Form. Soft copies of the documents are required to be uploaded while filling out the form. They are then requested to pay the fee.
CAT qualified Applicants have to appear for Personal Interviews and Group Discussions at Kolkata based on merit. Applicants who get short-listed will be updated through e-mail and they must carry all the required documents on the same day. Selected applicants will be contacted through e-mail or telephone and have to pay fees for seat confirmation.
