Manipal University Bengaluru facilitates students with various internship and employment opportunities in reputed organisations. Students pursuing B.Com (Hons.) from the university have to undergo an internship of 4 weeks during their 5th semester. During their 8th semester, they have to work on a project for 14 weeks. Students of M.Com have to undertake a mini project of 4 weeks in their 3rd semester and in 4th semester they have to do their dissertation for 8 weeks.
For Law students, there is a Placements and Corporate Engagement Cell that aims to help students in getting placement and internship opportunities. Law students have to undergo Summer Internship and Winter Internship programs. The internships help students in understanding practical applications of legal knowledge.
