The Symbiosis Centre for Skill Development, unlike the other institutes in the Nagpur campus, is offering Certificate and Diploma courses in various disciplines. To take admission or to do any one of the courses in the institute a candidate should have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC / ST students). Furthermore, complete details of the eligibility criteria as per the courses are available on the authentic website of the university. To encourage the talented students and achieve academic excellence Symbiosis Society Foundation provides scholarships to the deserving students of the university. The Training and Placement Department at the campus is dedicated to provide comprehensive guidance and support in getting the desired job for the students. It acts as a mediator between the corporate and the academics. To accomplish the task it conducts various activities like student internships, mock interviews, industry visit, aptitude tests, industrial training, group discussions, talk by industry delegates, etc. Additionally there are various clubs helping students to enrich their skills in the technical and professional sphere.
The T&P Department efforts make the list of the recruiter companies of SIU Nagpur campus very long. Many leading and renowned companies coming for the placement to the campus include Deloitte, Parle, Reliance Retail, Tata Power, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Mutual Fund, Adani Group, Tech Mahindra, Kantar Group, Genpact, and more.
SIU Nagpur campus is spread over 75 acres with state of the art infrastructure and top notch facilities for shaping the future of its students in a right direction and at the same time ensures a productive campus life.
