The Shiv Nadar University (SNU) Chennai came into existence in the year 2021 following the act passed by the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. The University got its UGC status on February 8, 2021. The university follows a rigorous procedure of admission considering various criteria and board marks. Admissions to the university are based on merit secured by the candidates in the Shiv Nadar University, Chennai, Entrance Exam followed by the paper verification and interview.
