Shiv Nadar University Chennai Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The hostel is our home away from home. The wardens take good care of us and ensure we are all comfortable. We have non-residential wardens, residential wardens and a warden for each block. As for hostel related activities, we have the Hostel Day which is so fun. Hostellers are given access to the Gym and the sports facilities. We also have a study room is each block where students come and study. The mess food is also good and does not cause any harm to health. Yes, there are hostel facilities available on campus. As mentioned earlier, the only slight issue with this University is the hostels. The hostels for SNUC are shared with SSN. The girls hostellers are supposed to enter in the hostel last by 8:30pm and for men it is 10:30pm. As far as the Ladies hostel is concerned, the new block is being built, along with blocks LH6 and LH3 are amazing. LH5 has single rooms that are decent. Worst part is all of them have the same fees for each room type (ac/ non ac/shared/ single), but the block you get depends on your University and year. There are two different mess options available for food and both are fine. You can eat nutritious food every day.Read Full Review
