Shiv Nadar University Chennai B.Tech Fees Structure 2025 & Admission Process

The course chosen by me is Cyber Security. if you choose this course, you have chance to learn some advanced skills like ethical hacking, cryptography, etc. this course has better future. An eligibility criterion to get seat my SNU Chennai is that you will have appeared in an online-proctored exam, followed by an online interview if you are selected. You have to confirm that you are taking seat here by sending them confirmation mail. Exams are held once in a month in this course. Academics help me to boost my confidence and motivate to put more effort during challenges.

Fee for Cyber Security is Rs. 3,46,000 for 1 year. Hostel fee is Rs. 1,45,000 including registration, admission fee and caution deposit. Scholarship is provided to the students who get high GPA in final exams.Read Full Review

I chose AIDS, which is top branch in B.Tech. To entry into this university, you must have to score minimum 75% in core subjects in IPE exams in 12th. After that, you have to qualify exam called SNUCEE followed by interview then you are eligible to get admission into this university. Exams are very frequent. The course is very hectic. Academics prepare me well for real life challenges and future problems.

Fee for all the courses in the B.Tech is same. Tuition fee is Rs. 3,00,000, hostel fee is Rs. 78,000, admission & CDC fee is Rs. 46,000 and mess fee is Rs. 3,500 (every month). Laundry fee and AC charges will be separate in the hostel.Read Full Review

The university consists of 3 courses for B.Tech (AI and Data Science, IoT, and Cyber Security), 1 course for B.Sc (Economics with specialisation in Data Science), and 2 courses in Commerce (B.Com, B.Com (Professional Accounting)) and 1 course in Law (B.A.LL.B). The entry to all of these courses is through a common entrance exam, SNUCEE. Once, selected in the entrance, students are shortlisted for a personal interview with the faculty and, if selected in that, students are provided with the offer letter. The whole process lasts for a maximum of a month and a half. The eligibility condition for a student to apply for the entrance is a minimum of 75% in the board exam. The courses are aligned to industry requirements and we get into the specializations right from the beginning.
