Gujarat Natural Farming and Organic Agricultural University

Gujarat Natural Farming and Organic Agricultural University was established in 2017 by the Gujarat state government. It is the only university in India which focuses on natural farming. GOAU is approved by the University Grant Commission and by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

Vision: The University aims for a prosperous and sustainable future for both Gujarat and India. It also wants to address various environmental, economic and social challenges, including food safety through education and research.

Mission: The university has a mission to promote the concept of natural farming practices in Gujarat.

The university currently provides two postgraduate programs, M.Sc in Natural Farming and M.Sc in Organic Farming. To know more about the eligibility criteria please refer to the table below:

Admission Process

Students seeking admission to the University have to visit the official website and register themselves. After the registration, candidates will have to submit the hardcopy of the admission form along with required documents to the registrar GNFSU Halol.

• Pass-port size photograph of the candidate
• Scanned signature of the candidate
• Graduation mark sheet
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Disability certificate (if applicable)
• Any government approved identity proof
