Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Design was established in 2022. It is a constituent unit of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, Pune. It is accredited by NAAC.

DY Patil School of Design provides scholarships to the deserving and meritorious students based on their overall performance including academics, attendance, conduct, participation in activities, etc. It also grants Government based scholarships. Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Design has a Training and Placement Department that provides personal counselling and mentorship to the students. It trains the students to enhance their interpersonal, technical and professional skills. The Training and Development Cell of the Institute is dedicated towards identifying the personal traits of the students and conduct various programs to enhance their employability skills such as:

Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Design provides high-tech and ultramodern infrastructural facilities to the students in order to provide them a conducive study environment.
