RIMT (Regional Institute of Management and Technology) University, founded in 1998, is one of the foremost higher education institutions in Punjab. The institute became a deemed university vide Govt. of Punjab Act & UGC Act in 2015. RIMT happens to be private, self-financed institute that offers a diversity of career-oriented programs in humanities, management, and engineering.
RIMT campus is at Gobindgarh, close to the Ambala-Ludhiana NH-1. All courses of RIMT had the approval of UGC and AICTE and affiliated to Punjab Technical University. The Council of Architecture, Bar Council of India, and Pharmacy Council of India have recognized specific programs.
