St Joseph's College Devagiri Calicut Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Our campus infrastructure is out of the world. It's really beautiful and developed. Our academic blocks are well made and furnished. In total we have 3 academic blocks, one for aided courses and the remaining for self finance courses. We have a newly constructed building and it has ten floors. We have elevators in both the buildings along with AC as well. Our class rooms are digitalized and most of our classes are taken through projectors. We have very good Computer Labs, Gym, Printing Room, Cafeteria and Practical Laboratory for each course along with the a beautiful library. The Library was newly built and has everyone stare at it in amazement. It has a wide variety of book. We also have various study areas in the libraries where we can have privacy to study.

We have great campus life. Our college has several fests, clubs, and festivals at regular intervals. There are many events that help students to showcase their talent. We have Ethnic Day, Holi, Halloween, Nirvana, Onam, Christmas, B-Zone, interpose programs, and many more. All of them are celebrated in a grand manner. The college has an awesome infrastructure. It has a newly constructed library. It is one of the biggest libraries in Kozhikode. It has three floors with different facilities and wide range of books. There are three blocks for the college namely A, B and C for aided, self-financing and commerce courses respectively. Every block has high facilities. Students also have enough places to sit and relax. It has a very large ground along with small practice courts. It also has a big indoor stadium at which most of the programs are hosted.

College life here is really good. It has all extracurricular activities with academics also. Students can excel in all fields here. There are almost 2500+ students here. College supports all entertainment programs. No celebrations are excluded here. Many fests happen here including national level fest like NIRVANA, it is organized by department of commerce and business management. There are three buildings in total named as A, B and C. The first one is the aided block. This building has been there since the year the college was constructed. This building is for the aided course. It is in this building where the office and the principal chamber and library are situated. Since the building is old enough the infrastructure is also kind of old. The classrooms have two doors and are a very wide one. The library is also situated in this block. The library is one of the fascinating things about the college. It has been a sensation recently. It is a renovated one. It has three floors providing a wide space. There are very large varieties of books here. The second one is the B block. This building has six floors and an underground. This is for the self financing courses. It was build recently and therefore it has modern technologies like TV and speakers in classrooms. The availability of TV in the classroom makes it easy for the teachers to take classes or to present PPTs. There are two computer labs in this building. There are about 150-200 computers in the lab. The lab is centralized air conditioned. The third block is the C block. This is the newly constructing block. This is for the department of commerce and business management exclusively. There are about 13 floors in this building with a bridge from B to C. The construction is still going on. But as far it comes with all new technologies.

The overall campus life here is well balanced. There are equal importance for academics as well as extracurricular. Every student here receives coaching for whatever the potential is. The college provides many opportunities for the students to showcase their talents. There are many department fests happening in the college everyday for the students to chill and relax. There are many places in the college where the students could sit and enjoy. The infrastructure here is so pleasing that we could learn everything better. There are student politics too where students could know more about the original politics and what is happening in the college. It builds up their leadership qualities. There are many fests that are organised in the college namely Nirvana, Efex, Envy etc. These are different department fests for the students within the college and outside the college. Out of these Nirvana is the most famous. It is a national level fest which is organised for one full day. College has won various trophies in fields of arts and sport.
