The eligibility requires one to have Math compulsorily as a subject in 11th and 12th as well as getting a good IPMAT score depending on that particular year's cut-offs. The BBA course structure is like no other as IIFT Kakinada focuses on integrating management education with STEM. The class hours can differ from 3 hours to 5 hours per day. One should also be ready to have back to back classes of the same subject around exams as some faculties aren’t permanent yet and come from different institutes. The course structure includes a lot of presentations; they may be group or individual presentations. The academic structure includes six subjects per semester and co- curricular activities generally for two credits till the last semester of BBA. There are six semesters having various subjects like Financial Accounting, English, Mathematics, Microsoft Excel Psychology, Introductory Statistics, Operation Research, Human Resource Management, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Indian and Global Economy, Consumer Behavior, etc. Electives are to be chosen from a variety of options ranging from AIML to Business, Law, Export-Import Management and many more. Integrated Program in Management is a five-year program in management that allows students to purse BBA and MBA without having to give the Common Aptitude Test. One needs to appear for the IPMAT Indore exam in order to apply for IIFT Kakinada's IPM program. IPM offers students the opportunity to learn in Tier-1 colleges with the peers across the country giving them the much needed exposure that can better prepare them for their higher studies.
