The Placement Cell at NMIMS aims to provide placement assistance to its students in their respective discipline. The Placement Team works with an objective of bridging the gap between industry requirements and students' goals. To facilitate information about the corporate world, the cell takes initiatives to organise guest lectures and interaction sessions. To enhance professional skills of the students, the cell arranges such activities like:

Summer internship opportunities are facilitated for the students in reputed organisations which includes Havells, HDFC Bank, AU Finance Bank, State Legal Services Authority, ICICI Bank, ICICI Securities, IDFC First Bank, eClerx, Concentrix, Mahindra, HMEL, Asian Paints, Jio, Yes Bank, Master Card, Circor, etc.

While conducting campus drives, the placement cell of NMIMS Chandigarh connects with various companies such as Capgemini, Infosys, KPMG, Flipkart, Amazon, Hero, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, Bunge, Trident Group, PWC, Aditya Birla Group, Zscaler, EY, Bunge, and many other companies.

NMIMS Chandigarh campus provides internet access to its students within the institute's premises. Air-conditioned classrooms of the institute have traditional as well as modern teaching aids and can accommodate around 60 students. CCTV’s are installed in each classroom as a safety measure. Students can take benefit of below mentioned state of art infrastructure and facilities: 

• Library: The Learning Resource Centre of NMIMS Chandigarh provides access to multiple resources like 2000+ books, 18+ journals & magazines, 5+ newspapers, audio-visual resources, etc. OPAC services and remote access to e-resources & databases is provided to the students with internet facility. A reading hall is also available in the institute’s library. 
• Laboratories: To facilitate practical learning by its students, various laboratories with modern facilities are available such as physics lab, 3D printing lab, etc. The computer lab has PC’s which are equipped with latest configuration and updated software. 
• Moot Court: A moot court is available where students can enhance their advocacy skills which are essential in legal field. The institute has a Moot Committee which organises several competitions and events for providing practical knowledge to the students. 
• Hostel: NMIMS has hostel facilities for male and female students separately with positive surroundings. The hostel rooms are fully air-conditioned and have all modern facilities. The hostel provides laundry service, water purifiers, medical service, washing machine, housekeeping service, internet facility, common rooms with TV, and many other services. Rooms are allotted on a sharing basis and students are also provided with a mess facility. 
• Sports: NMIMS has a sports Room which is equipped with indoor games facilities such as table tennis tables, carrom boards, chess board, badminton. Students have participated in various sports events at state, national & international level. 
• Cafeteria: NMIMS Chandigarh has a spacious cafeteria which has comfortable seating of around 300 students. Variety of cuisine options are provided to the students. Moreover, a bakery is available which provides a diverse range of food options at reasonable prices. 
• Auditorium: A spacious auditorium with a world class infrastructure which can accommodate about 330 students at a time. It is equipped with audio-visual aids, hanging mics, etc. This place is used for conducting workshops, events, and several other programs.
• Additional Facilities: Seminar Hall, Legal Aid, Clubs, and many other facilities.
