I am pursuing Electronics & Computer Science course (EXCS) from Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. You can admit here by giving MHT-CET exam conducted in Maharashtra only or by JEE. The motive for enrolling in this course was simply to be benefitted by both Electronics & Computer science field. You need a 94 percentile to be admitted in this course.

VIT Mumbai offers B.Tech course in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Electronics and Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. You have to secure minimum 60% in Intermediate (12th) (HSC or any other board) according to MHTCET prerequisites. After that you have to score required marks in MHTCET or JEE Mains. Then after your results, you will get branch according to your score. If you have done your 12th with PCM and have given MHTCET or JEE Mains, then your score is liable for getting admission. I do not have any specific motive but if you want autonomous institute and you are not getting any above of it, you can definitely go for it. Institute is autonomous means it is under Mumbai University but it has its own rule. Each semester consist of 5-6 subjects. There is 2 mid semester exams and 1 end semester exam. To get admission in Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai, you need to clear MHCET or JEE Main. Minimum of 75 percentile is needed for Biomedical; 80-85 percentiles are required for Electronics and Telecommunication, and above 93 percentile for IT/CS branches (percentile changes each year).
