Rathinam College of Physiotherapy, Coimbatore was established in the year 2021 as a Private Educational Institution. Rathinam College of Physiotherapy Coimbatore is affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. Rathinam College of Physiotherapy offers admission in the field of Paramedical at UG level with scholarship benefits to deserving students. Dr. Madan A Sendhil is the Chairman.
Situated in Coimbatore, the Rathinam College of Physiotherapy began its journey in the year 2021. The college’s purpose is to produce highly skilled professionals in the field of Physiotherapy.
The professors focus on teaching the students by combining creativity and experimentation leading to educational excellence. The vision of the institute is to inculcate values and skills in them while imparting education that meets international standards. The motto of the college is to enrich the knowledge of the students and help them explore their talent in Physiotherapy.
Affiliated to the Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, and approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu, the institute offers Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) courses. The BPT course lasts for 4 years and after completing the course the students need to undergo an internship for 6 Months. The MPT course lasts for 2 years.
The students passing out from the college can pursue a Ph.D. program. They can also work as entrepreneurs in rehabilitation centers, Physiotherapists in healthcare centers, clinical researchers and instructors, sports physiotherapists, consultant physiotherapists, etc. The students are also capable enough to get placed in a healthcare setup overseas.
The students willing to pursue the BPT course from the institute need to have cleared the HSC examination with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/ Botany/ Zoology. Male and female candidates can apply for the course and they should have completed 17 years as of 31st December of the admission year. The students seeking to pursue MPT must have passed BPT from a recognised university.

Once the registration has been done, the students need to complete the form and submit the documents. Next, the students will be charged a fee to enrol themselves.
