Formerly known as Kanpur University, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur was established in 1966. It is approved by UGC and AICTE. The University is recognised by BCI, PCI, NCTE, & AIU. CSHMU (Kanpur University) is accredited by NAAC and ranked by NIRF.

Admission Process
Students can register and apply online for admission at the official website of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. In the above mentioned programs, students are selected on the basis of the results of qualifying exams.
In the above mentioned courses, admissions are conducted on the basis of Merit / Entrance Exams Results / Screening Test / Personal Interview & Group Discussions / Direct through CSJMU Admission Portal, depending on the respective program requirements.
Students selected in the merit list are required to visit the relevant department on notified dates. After getting provisional admission, students can pay the CSJMU Fees for various programs through online or offline mode and finalise their admission.
