The Mohan Babu University has framed certain rules for creating a conducive environment and to ensure that hostel property is protected. The hostel residents have to abide by the rules and regulations mentioned below:

• Students shall not shift or interchange their room or any furniture / fixture provided in the room from other rooms, involving in such activities can lead to rustication.
• If a student does not have any local guardian, then he / she will require a fax / e-mail from the parents or guardian for getting permission to go on a night out.
• If any hostel asset in corridors or common areas is found missing / damaged, its cost will be recovered by all of the students of that particular wing.
• Hostellers are prohibited from taking any guest including parents to their rooms.
• Ragging and consumption of alcohol / intoxicating drinks / tobacco / drug or any such substance is strictly prohibited in the hostel premises.
• After the completion of examinations, hostel residents are required to vacate the room within 5 days.
• The in-timing is 10:30 PM for all the hostellers; it is not allowed to leave the hostels at night after this prescribed time.
