George College is one of the best colleges for management and health allied studies. The college was set up in the year 2001 and has its affiliation with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata also known as MAKAUT.

The college offers graduate degrees in courses such as BBA, BCA, B.Sc, Media Science, Sports Management, Travel & Tourism Management, Automobile Servicing Technology, Hardware & Networking, Electronics Manufacturing Services, VFX Film Making, Medical Lab Technology, and Interior Design, these courses are of 3 - 4 year duration and consist of 2 semesters per year. Master’s degree courses are also present such as M.Sc in Computer Science.

George College accepts students on the basis of their past qualifications. The willing students can fill out the form on the college’s website and they can also pay the fees online as mentioned on the website. The students can also take admission offline on the campus by paying a visit. The students who have met the qualification criteria for the desired subjects and after paying the fee will receive an offer letter issued by the college mentioning the course details and all the required information.

• Graduate Courses
  • BBA / Media Science / B.Voc in Automobile Servicing / B.Voc in Hardware & Networking / B.Voc in Electronics Manufacturing / B.Voc in Medical Lab Technology / B.Voc in Interior Design.
    • The applicant should have passed class 12th including English as a mandatory subject.
  • BCA
    • The applicant should have passed class 12th included English and Maths/ stats as mandatory subjects.
  • Sports Management
    • The applicant should have passed class 12th.
    • The applicant must have ambitious interest in sports.
    • The applicant should be presenting and have good communicating skills.
  • Travel & Tourism Management
    • The applicant should have passed class 12th with English as a main subject.
    • The applicant should have ease of communicating in the English language.

• • B.Sc in Medical Lab Technology
    • The applying candidate should have cleared class 12th with English as a main subject and should be from the science stream in class 12th with PCB as main subjects.
• PG Course
  •  M.Sc in Computer Science
    • The applying candidate should have cleared graduation degree in I.T /  Statistics / CS / Physics / Electronic.

George College provides the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship to students who are from poor or economically backward families or whose parental income is less than 1 lakh per annum. The scholarship gives a facility to students so that they can continue their educational studies and higher studies at all levels. The scholarship is basically given to economically weak students on the basis of their merit achievements in the field of academics.

The college also has a facility of Student Credit Card, a step taken by the government of West Bengal for needy students so that they can study without any financial condition barrier allowing them to pursue professional degrees and higher studies such as graduation and post-graduation degrees and also in schools.
