There is a friendly environment in the college between seniors and juniors. Transportation facilities like bus and auto are easily available here. Students are provided with Ethernet ports in each room which has up to 1Gbps speed. Spacious rooms are given for students during 1 and 3 year with double sharing. IIITDM Kancheepuram Or Chennai is one of the top IIITs in country. It has zero ragging policy and also the policy has been implemented very seriously. And also college has a NIRF ranking 8 in innovation and normal NIRF ranking 184 once now it is going to be in between 100 to 150. Here the academics and personal life management is very good. College’s area is around 50 acres. It is situated in outskirts of Chennai near Kandigai. I choose this college by enquiring about the college through my family and friends. Here the faculty is quite interactive and dedicated towards teaching. Although rules are little strict they are for the betterment of the students so that students don't get into any hazardous activities. Here students get good academic knowledge.
