NID Bhopal offers placement support to the students. The Placement Cell conducts various pre-placement activities, working effortlessly to connect students with leading firms and offer Internship opportunities to help the students to reach their career goal. Some of the activities organised by the Cell are:

• Mock interviews
• Counselling
• Networking
• Resume writing, etc.

The National Institute of Design Bhopal provides various facilities to the students. The Institute is spread over approximately 29.49 acres. It facilitates the students with well equipped classrooms, user-friendly & interactive academic environment. The provided facilities include:

• Library: Institute provides a well equipped air conditioned library to the students. It is stocked with academic resources to fulfil the knowledge & educational requirement of the staff members and the students. It is equipped with computers to fulfil the research based needs and requirements of the students. 
• Laboratories: The IT Lab is equipped with the latest and upgraded computer systems. These are used by the students to get trained and enhance their research skills. Other available labs include Sound Lab, Prototyping Lab, Textile Working Areas, etc.
• Studios: The design studios are set-up to provide experiential learning to students. These training studios are equipped with equipment & required machinery including Laser cutters, 3D Printers, etc.
• Auditorium: The auditorium has a seating capacity of around 500 people. It is used to organise conferences, discussions, seminars, guest lectures, placement activities, etc.
• Cafetaria: The Cafe kiosk is a place inside the institute where students can have beverages and snacks. They can enjoy food here with friends in their leisure time.
• Hostel: Separate hostel facility is provided to girls and boys. The utilities offered by the institute at the hostel include hot water, RO water, washing machine, TV Room, indoor and outdoor games, water cooler, 24*7 security, Wi-Fi connection and lift. The hostellers are also provided with a mess facility. There is an air-conditioned mess available where students are offered with food in a hygienic environment.
• Sports: Institute provides several games facilities to the students. Indoor and Outdoor games facilities are provided include badminton, tennis, table tennis, chess, volleyball, basketball, cricket, carom, etc.
• Other Facilities: Surveillance, Amphitheater, Multi Facility Recreation Center, Utility Shop, Gym, Basic Training Studio, etc.
