The Jain University Bangalore hostels are separately there for the boys and girls students. There are multiple on-campus hostels available for the students to provide them a home away from home. The University has set up some rules & regulations to maintain discipline at the hostels. Following are the rules which hostellers are required to follow:

• Students are not allowed to stay back in their hostels during the college hours without the permission of the Warden / Principal.
• The hostel residents at the University should remain in their rooms between 7 PM to 7 AM.
• It is mandatory for hostellers to follow certain dress codes when they are outside their rooms. Students can wear informal dress when visiting the mess but while going out of the hostel, they must wear formals.
• Smoking or consumption of alcohol inside the hostel or outside anywhere within the University premises is strictly banned. If any student is found in possession of such items, strict actions will be taken by the authorities.
• Students can use PCs / Laptop only with prior permission from authorities, as per the rules of the hostels.
• With the permission of the Warden, students can visit their local guardian only once in a week. Further, hostellers can go out for purchase of any items or for entertainment purposes on Saturdays and Sundays, only after obtaining permission from the Warden.
• Using any electrical appliances like heaters is prohibited for the hostellers.
• If students want to leave the hostel for a short period of time, they have to take permission from the Warden and get a letter signed by their parents in a specified format while returning.

Jain University Bangalore Hostel is situated at a convenient location which allows students to easily access the facilities available at the University campus. The total number of rooms available in the boys’ and girls’ hostels is around 700 and 300, respectively.
