The aim of Vivekananda Institute of Advanced Studies is to educate the students in such a way that they are ready for the hard challenges of industry life. The institute was established in the year 2014 in Kolkata and offers two major programs in Hotel/Hospitality and Tourism Management and Medical Laboratory Technology. Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Bachelor's courses are offered under both majors. However, Masters and MBA are only available in Medical Laboratory Technology. The Teaching faculty at VIAS has a vast knowledge of their fields.

The admission procedure to apply for all the courses is similar. Here are the steps to apply:

• The candidates need to visit the official website of the college and click on the Admission tab. There they need to select the Online Admission tab and it will take them to the Application form.
• Applicants need to fill out the asked details in the Application form.
• Once the college accepts the application, the candidates must give a Preliminary Interview which can be taken online or offline.
• Next, they need to submit the required documents for verification.
• After the documents are verified, the candidates will have to take a written test and the qualified candidates will be contacted for further discussion.
• The selected students need to fill out a form and their seats will be booked to confirm admission.
