To provide the students with world-class placement opportunities and to bridge the gap between the students and the industry, GJUST has established an active and well-functioning Training and Placement Cell. This cell focuses on providing professional training to the students which makes the students industry-ready, socially responsible, confident, and employable. This cell is responsible for inviting various government and private organisations for on and off-campus interviews. The cell also provides summer and winter internship programs for young students to provide them with insight into the work field. Along with this, the cell also performs other activities like:

• Providing career counselling and guidance to the students so that they can opt for the right career path.
• Organising personality and career development programs like workshops, seminars, conferences, webinars, industrial visits, etc. for the better learning and growth of the students.
• Imparting professional skills, technical skills, communicational skills, and soft skills in students.
• Developing professional capabilities in students by organising pre-placement talks that consist of mock interviews, resume-building exercises, group discussions, and aptitude tests.

Some national and international companies where the students of GJUST got placed are Amazon, Pfizer, Apollo Munich, Vivo, Canon, Accenture, Axis Bank, Zee Media, Amul, HDFC Life, HP, Infosys, Kotak, Cognizant, Philips, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Samsung, Tech Mahindra, IBM, etc.

The university is spread in an area of 372 acres of land and it is approximately 167 km away from Delhi as it is located at Hisar-Delhi Bypass. The university consists of a pollution-free environment, a picturesque landscape, and a world-class infrastructure with numerous buildings. GJUST focuses on providing a positive and ragging-free environment for the students and to avoid any negativity and indiscipline on the campus, the university has established various cells and committees like SC / ST Cell, OBC & Minority Cell, Internal Complaint Committee, Women Cell, etc. The university has well-furnished smart classrooms with advanced teaching & learning tools, a guest house, and Wi-Fi facilities, seminar rooms, conference halls, well-furnished auditorium, along with other services and amenities like:

• Library: To facilitate the students with up-to-date information services, the university has established a spacious and resourced Library. This library runs in two shifts and it is divided into several sections. This library is the first choice of research scholars as it is equipped with both printed and digital resources like more than 126000 books, 6600+ bound volumes, 280+ national & foreign journals, 40+ magazines, theses, 7500+ e-journals, 12+ e-publishers, 3+ databases, 17+ local & regional language newspapers, 282000+ e-books, 18300+ structured CDs & DVDs, 960+ dissertation, etc. The library has a fast internet connection that allows the students to go for online research and it has a well-furnished and air-conditioned reading hall that can facilitate up to 370+ students.
• Hostels: To provide comfortable and safe accommodation space to the students, the university has established several hostels. In total, GJUST has nine hostels, out of which four hostels are dedicated to boys, the other four to girls, and one hostel is for working women. To keep the students safe and for safety purposes, the university has installed various CCTV cameras all around the hostel and experienced wardens are recruited. The rooms of the hostels are furnished, spacious, and well-lit, offering a great stay to the students. Mess services are also provided to the hostellers. A mess committee is also organised that focuses on providing delicious and healthy food to the hostellers. For the entertainment and other needs of the hostellers, the hostel campus has a common room, beauty parlor, cyber café, general store, etc.
• Canteen: The University has a centrally located cafeteria which is built in an area of 674 sq. mtr. This cafeteria has a big dining hall with a seating capacity of 120+ students in one go. The canteen serves breakfast, lunch, and other refreshments at reasonable rates.
• Sports: Sports play a vital role in developing the overall personality of the students, so to motivate the students towards physical activities & sports, the university has established a Sports Department / Complex. This complex is built in an area of 40 acres of land and is equipped with all the sports equipment and kits. The sports complex has indoor and outdoor sports amenities like Badminton court, Table Tennis hall, Carom & Chess boards, Cricket ground, Handball ground, Football ground, Volleyball ground, 400 meter Athletic Track, Taekwondo, Judo, and Karate area, etc. The university also encourages its students to take part in various sports tournaments and events. It organises a range of sports activities for students like motorbike tours, skiing, tracking, etc. Apart from this, well equipped and furnished gymnasium is present on the campus for both girls and boys.
• Health Facilities: The University has a primary Health Centre that is equipped with medical tools and equipment like an oxygen concentrator, ECG machine, hematology analyser, autoanalyser, etc. The health centre has educated and experienced staff and doctors that look after the students. 24x7 ambulance services are also available on the campus for the students.
• Other Facilities: Post Office, Bank, Shopping Complex, Yoga Centre, etc.
