The university focuses on providing placement opportunities to the students and to make this process smoother, the university has established a Central Placement Cell (CPC). CPC provides placements to the students in various professional courses and trains them throughout the academic year so that the students can become employable. Students of GGU get the chance to be placed at reputed government ogranisations, multinational companies, private companies, and NGO’s. The cell keeps an eye on the students and monitors their growth regularly. It also provides need based training, placement assistance, and career counselling to the students. The cell organises various seminars, workshops, conferences, industry visits, etc. for the exposure of the students as it helps the students in understanding the industry demands and other important factors of the corporate life. CPC also helps to get range of internship programs to the students. Apart from this, some other objectives of CPC are:

• To train the students professionally by organising resume building exercises and mock interviews.
• To train the students with their body language and personality.
• To update the students about the upcoming recruitment companies and their criteria of recruitment.
• To develop communicational skills, technical skills, soft skills, and presentation skills in students.

The companies that visit GGU for the purpose of placement are Vector India Limited, Jio, UltraTech Cement, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, ICICI Bank, Allstate Solution Private Limited, Zaggle FinTech, etc.

Located at Koni Bilaspur, the campus of the university is 5 km away from the main city and is spread in an area of 655 acres. It is surrounded by greenery and has a pollution free atmosphere. The university provides a ragging free environment to the students and it has established a SC / ST Cell that works on providing equal opportunities for all. To entertain the students and to cheer up their spirit, the university celebrates various festivals and functions. The infrastructure of the university fulfils all the academic needs of the learners as it has smart classrooms, internet facilities, and equipped laboratories for practicals along with other amenities and services like:

• Library: A stocked and furnished Central Library is present in the campus of the university that meets the academic demands of scholars and book lovers. The library is constructed in a spacious building with Wi-Fi facilities, and printed & digital reading resources. There are more than 152000 books, 4500+ back volumes, 1400+ Ph.D theses, Indian and foreign journals, periodicals, magazines, newspapers, project reports, etc. It has a spacious reading room that can facilitate up to 500 readers.
• Computer Center: GGU owns a state-of-the-art Computer Center with more than 50 computer systems. It is built in a spacious room with comfortable seating area and is equipped with internet services, updated software, multimedia devices, printers, etc. This center helps the students in enhancing their IT knowledge and makes them technically advanced.
• Hostel: The University facilitates its students by providing comfortable and modern accommodation services. There are three boy’s hostel and one girl’s hostel, accommodating 800+ and 400+ students, respectively. The rooms of the hostels are furnished in a way that it meets all the requirements of the students staying in. The campus of the hostel is safe and student friendly as warden and security guards are present here 24x7. Mess services are also provided to the hostellers so that they get healthy and tasty food, away from home. Students need to fill the hostel application form to reserve a seat in the hostel.
• Cafeteria: The University has a cafeteria that provides food and beverages to the students at reasonable rates. The cafeteria prepares the food in a hygienic way and its food quality and standards are always monitored by the university. It also offers comfortable seating area where students can relax and enjoy delicious meals with their fellow classmates or friends.
• Sports: The University has a dedicated department for physical activities, known as Physical Education. This department meets the sporting needs of the students by providing various outdoor games to them like Kabaddi, Badminton, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, etc. To train the students, experienced coaches and trainers are recruited. The university also encourages its students to participate in All India University level and inter university level sports competitions.
• Auditorium: GGU owns a spacious and huge auditorium with comfortable seating area in ground floor and balcony. It can accommodate up to 800 people at a time and it is constructed to conduct annual function, award shows, and other university ceremonies.
• Transportation: The University provides comfortable transportation services to the day scholars. The buses of the university cover all the pre-decided areas of the town and helps the students in reaching the campus without any delay or hassle.
• Health Facilities: To provide medical facilities and services to the students, the university has established a furnished Health Center. A medical officer is always available in the center along with assistant to look after the students who need medical expertise. From time-to-time, doctors and specialists visit the campus of the university to provide medical services. Apart from this, an ambulance is also kept in the health center round the clock.
