Sri Krishnadevaraya University was started as the Postgraduate Centre of Sri Venkateswara University in 1967-1968. In 1981, it was given the status of the University. SKU has a Training and Placement Cell which is responsible to provide assistance and guidance to the students. It helps the students to enhance their skills, talent, and knowledge through personality development programs and training. The Cell conducts group exercises, aptitude tests, mock interviews, etc. and organises workshops, conferences, and guest lectures for the students.
