The COER campus straddles on both sides of the National Highway no. 58 that connects Ghaziabad (UP) with Badrinath and Manas Pass in Uttarakhand. Delhi, the national capital, is about 180 kms from the institute. Roorkee which serves as the gateway to the lofty and magnificent Northern Himalayas is well connected with the capital by road and rail.
The institution campus is only 7kms away from the town of Roorkee, and the sprawling 75-acre college grounds are verdant and eco-friendly. The college campus appears enchanting and breathtaking when one takes a tour of the institution’s precincts. The college takes pride in presenting a state-of-the-art infrastructure that comprises of impressive buildings that espouse sustainability.
The college’s academic block houses the lecture rooms and tutorial rooms that have the latest audiovisual teaching and learning tools. The computer application center block comprises of computer laboratories that contain one hundred sixty Pentium-4 computer systems. The institute library stocks a vast collection of textbooks and reference manuals on a wide range of subjects.
The library also has innumerable national and international journals that students find very helpful. The college maintains its bus fleet that picks up and drops students from fixed sites in Hardwar and Roorkee. The student center is at the essence of COER as it houses several hobby clubs that enable students to hone their extracurricular and co-curricular skills. Of all the structures and edifices in the college, mention must be made of its modernized library.
