Hostel facilities are available at Loyola College Chennai for both boys and girls separately. Both the hostels are well designed and equipped with various facilities to cater to the daily needs of the students. In order to maintain the decorum at the hostels, certain rules and regulations are laid down by the authorities which students need to follow; some of these are as follows:

• The hostel residents must stay only in the room allotted to them; they are not permitted to interchange it with other hostellers without the permission of the higher authorities.
• Consumption of alcohol, drugs, smoking, and other harmful substances are prohibited within the hostels. Students' involvement in such activities can lead them towards the cancellation of hostel admission.
• Admission to the hostels will be cancelled if the student is found involved in activities like creating disturbance during silence hours, non-participation in hostel events, damaging hostel properties, etc.
• Use of electrical appliances like kettle, iron box, hair dryer, heaters, etc. are prohibited at the hostels.
• Hostellers are not allowed to carry the outside food within the hostel.
• Sticking posters, banners, and pictures on the walls of the hostel rooms are banned.
• Hostellers need to carry their College and hostel identity card when they exit the hostel gate.
• Within the hostels, birthday celebrations are strictly banned.
