Lady Shri Ram College for Women New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus is beautiful. Every corner is surrounded by lush green trees and flowers. One of my favorite things about LSR is the wall murals- hand painted by students themselves. The campus also has several pet dogs. An interesting fact is that all the dogs are female! In terms pdf technical infrastructure, the new block does have large, spacious classrooms with big glass windows that offer a view. However, the old block has several shortcomings. The classrooms are poorly ventilated. There have been several instances where students have been asked to sit in cramped spaces due to lack of seats available. There is no provision of air conditioning, except for a few seminar halls and the media lab (one of the reasons why the fee for journalism is higher).

LSR campus life provides a very safe and comfortable environment for women. As a girl, it feels liberating to wear whatever you want without anyone questioning your virtue over it. I do feel that LSR being isolated from other college’s foes present a challenge. In terms of the “north campus” hype, LSR might seem a little boring, as there are only internal events. The student union and different societies do hold workshops and sessions during ECA slots and lunch break, which make campus life a little interesting. Ultimately, it depends on how much you’re participating and contributing towards societies that determine your experience of campus life. The overall scene is very relaxed. There are two blocks in LSR New Delhi: one is new building and one is old building. The new building has big rooms as compared to the old. Campus is spread across 16 acres of area. One best thing you will find about here is greenery as we have three big lawns. The classroom sizes decent. it can accommodate 70 to 80 students easily. Projectors and white boards are present in the classrooms. Other academic facilities include 2 libraries, seminar hall, auditorium, and many more. There is a very good sports complex that includes majorly all sports. For food, there are three. My favorite spot in college is lawn cause it is very peaceful to sit silently an enjoy the nature.

Overall, my campus life is good. All though I faced some problem in the initial days because there was a major change from school life to college life. The seniors here are so friendly and they will help you in every situation whatever you ask them. You will realize that how privilege you are because every student here is achiever. They are head girls of the school and have scored so good marks in CUET it exam as well as class 12th. Basically you will be among the toppers. There are many societies in clubs that are present in my college including UPSC society dance society IFSA, drama society, debating society, beyond the classroom clubs, and many more. There are two fests that has been organized one is the Diwali fest which is called ‘Noor’ and other is the best part of ladies Sri Ram College which is ‘Tarang’, the annual fest of the college because there is so much hype of Tarang and you will realize the best part of your life here. Campus life is something that you will enjoy to the fullest. Campus is so beautiful. It has great classrooms, a well stocked library, computer lab, amphitheater, auditorium and sports facilities like courts and even an open gym, etc. The canteen at LSR is nice but Nescafe is way too expensive. My favorite place is amphitheater, I go there when I feel exhausted. My course is bit difficult so I need to gain some energy with some coffee and Maggie.

Campus life is going good. It has a diverse crowd. I'm myself a member of WUS society. Tarang- the annual fest of LSR is organised in an amazing manner. Lady Shri Ram College for Women has the best societies like Enactus, Prakriti, etc. but getting into any of them is quite difficult.
