Lady Shri Ram College for Women New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The LSR is built in an area of 16 acres and it is one of the most beautiful campuses of DU. We have an old building and a new building. An auditorium (beautiful but no A/c), One café (canteen), Sports ground, Basketball court, Amphitheatre, two beautiful lawns and Wi-Fi across the campus.

Campus life is vibrant because you will meet new people with diverse backgrounds and cultures. We even have exchange students as well. There are various societies for debate, dance, music, MUNs, drama (most happening) Enactus, Rotaract. There are about 40+ clubs and societies overall. We have multiple fests throughout. The main annual fest is ‘Tarang’ and ‘Noor’ - the Diwali fest. Apart from this, every department has their own fest such as Econvista- Econ dept, Comquest- Commerce Department, Juxtapose- Journalism department and many others! There are no ACs in classrooms and auditorium. However, each classroom in new building has an attached balcony which ensures good ventilation and perfect aesthetic view. Also, you cannot miss out on the beauty of back-lawns which are blessing in winters. Campus is beautiful in terms of greenery and cleanliness. Canteen food is affordable and average in taste (has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options). There's a mother dairy and a Nescafe too. You cannot forget the South Indian food with Veni Aunty (famous for her vada pavs and South Indian food) which is affordable and tasty.

It’s mostly peaceful, home-like and non-chaotic. It does feel secluded but the freedom of being your own self compensates for everything. It's the best place to relax and prepare for any post-graduation entrance. You will find people dancing, singing, and napping without being insecure, etc. at multiple spots.Read Full Review

The infrastructure is fine. LSR is an old college so students should have expectations accordingly. That being said, it is very accessible and cleans. There is an ongoing construction of a new building which has a more modern infrastructure. The library of the college is built beautifully, has all the necessary book and is outfitted with AC.

As I mentioned, the college has a very lively culture in terms of societies. The crowd is really good and academic oriented but that doesn't mean people are boring, it's the opposite. You get to meet people who have done so many interesting things and have opportunity to collaborate with them in your interests. There are growing entrepreneurship projects too. We have one annual fest and various department fests. Other than that, seminars and small events are organized almost weekly.Read Full Review
