Yes, accommodation facilities are available for almost all B.Tech students. There are 11 hostels for boys and 2 for girls. Hostel spirit and bonding is a high point here with most senior junior interaction in IIT. The infrastructure of the hostel is below average.Read Full Review

The hostels of IIT Delhi are either single occupancy or double occupancy. However, most of the students in the first and second years of B.Tech are allotted double sharing in single occupancy rooms (For Example, hostels like Vindhayachal and Shivalik) and triple sharing in double sharing rooms (example hostels like Aravali and Karakoram). The students enjoy a lot of freedom as there is no time restriction on when they can enter or leave their hostels apart from the first couple of months in their freshman year when they are under curfew period.Read Full Review

Hostel life is good. Ragging is strictly not tolerable. The food quality is good. You get three meals a day. There are recreational activities like pool, singing, and dance. Most hostels have their own gym.Read Full Review
