The placement and training department of the Symbiosis Institute of Technology has played an active role in helping shape students’ careers. The placement cell is very well-equipped as it contains interview rooms, discussion rooms, a seminar antechamber, and many other facilities. The department has built a strong rapport with many well-known firms, and company executives visit the campus regularly for recruitment.
Final-year students undergo special training that enhances their soft skills and technical skills, thus preparing them for facing placement interviews. In 2017-18, more than 70 multinational corporations participated in the campus recruitment drive at SIT. Some of the topnotch firms that visited the college campus in 2017-18 include General Electric, Symantec, Baker Hughes, and Rail Bombardier.
