Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women hostels strive to provide comfortable accommodation for the students residing there. SVEC College has hostel blocks exclusively for the accommodation of female students.

The atmosphere at SVEC hostels is homely and lively. All the basic furniture such as beds, study tables and chairs, ceiling fans, and bulbs are provided in SVEC hostel rooms. One room accommodates three students in SVEC hostels. The room allotment is done by the Hostel Warden after consulting the Hostel Committee.

SVEC hostel food is catered by the mess which includes a modern kitchen. The food is healthy and hygienic and contains all the nutrients required by the students. The dining hall is large to accommodate many students at once and is air-conditioned.

SVEC hostel facilities are as follows:

• Students are not allowed to shift the hostel furniture from one room to another.
• Students must maintain discipline and decorum inside the hostel at all times.
• Usage of high-wattage appliances such as electric irons and water heaters is prohibited.
• Indulgence of any student in activities such as smoking and drinking, if found, will lead to strict actions.
• Usage of TV, Radio, Transistors, and Tape Recorders in rooms will lead to a penalty fine of Rs.500/-.
• Ragging is strictly prohibited and can lead to expulsion from the hostels.
