SPIT Mumbai has a well structured and dedicated placement cell which tries to achieve the goal of 100% placements every year. To achieve this goal, the placement cell organises various internship and recruitment drives, in which various organisations and companies participate. The institute has added numerous vocational and extracurricular programs in its course structure in order to provide a practical experience to the students about their learning in technology. Opportunities of research internships are also provided by the institute in IIT and IIM, so that students can gather an experience of professionalism.

Till now the institute has helped almost all of its students in getting a desired job role by providing training through seminars, guest lectures, webinars, and mock interviews. Every year the students of the institute get opportunities from a number of companies including, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, Google, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Deloitte, IBM, Infosys, PhonePe, Oracle, Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Work India, BookMyShow, MAQ Software, etc.

The campus of Sardar Patel Institute of Technology is situated on about 47 acres of land, which houses well equipped buildings for carrying out administrative, academic and other functions. The campus is vast, completely Wi-Fi enabled, has access to various servers including NTP, Moodle, DNS, D SPACE, etc. which makes the whole campus of the institute an advanced and modern entity. The institute consists of separate and modern infrastructure for Library, Laboratories, Classrooms, Computer Centre, and Sports. The classrooms are modern and are fully air conditioned, have internet facility, and are equipped with latest sound systems, LCD screens, projectors, so that a better learning experience for the students can be provided.

• Library: Library of Sardar Patel Institute of Technology is situated on a 500 sq. mt. of land. The institute provides a central library which is equipped with up to date technologies, there is internet and Wi-Fi facility, which is used to operate functions related to digital library, research and for other similar purposes. The library provides subscription to periodicals, magazines, 8000+ e- books, 23000+ books, national & international journals and e- journals, and 24/7 access to NPTEL & OPAC systems. The library has a membership with the British Council library as well as ACM Digital Library, which makes its functioning more organised and updated.
• Laboratories: To provide practical knowledge to the students who are associated with the engineering & technology education, the institute has established various well equipped labs, so that students can apply their theoretical knowledge in the practical situation. There are separate labs for all the departments, which are ICT and Wi-Fi enabled and consist various experimenting instruments and tools which include Matlab, Mentor Graphics, Dynalog, Drone, Machine Learning Devices, Computer Systems, Softwares, etc. which collectively help students in their researches and experiments.
• Sports: The institute provides latest sports facilities for its students, in order to provide them a platform for maintaining their health and physique, and also for their personal growth. Every year the institute organises sports events named as SPOORTHI. For the sports activities the institute provides area and equipments, including grounds for outdoor games such as Football, Volleyball, Athletics, Kabaddi, Cricket, Badminton, Throw ball, Basketball, Kho-Kho, etc. and area and equipments for indoor games including Chess, carom, table tennis, etc.
• Other Facilities: Along with these facilities Sardar Patel Institute of Technology also provides facilities of Auditorium, Botanical Garden, Amphitheatre, Seminar hall, etc. Facilities of lift and ramps are also provided throughout the campus for the convenience of physically challenged students.
