MNNIT Allahabad Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

MNNIT Allahabad provides students Hostels for residential facilities with charge of Rs 12,000 per semester and Mess fee of 25,000 per semester. The rooms provided here vary from hostel to hostel. The hostels that are provided to 1st year are new and the best among them for both boys and girls. Rooms are spacious there and basic amenities like beds, chairs study table and cupboards are available. The rooms are shared by 3 or 4 students. For boys in 2nd year they have to share a room with 2 and afterwards they get single rooms but in girls hostel, they have to share their room with their partner till all Institute. The Rooms for seniors are not spacious and students face problems for adjustment. There these hostels are old and need to renovate. The new hostels (For first year) are better maintained. But there are sometimes issues with network connectivity with Wi-Fi. For safety each hostel has 2-3 security guards but there are some restrictions too. Yes, MNNIT Allahabad has residential facilities. First year boys are provided with SVBH (Swami Vivekananda Boy’s hostel). It is 7-floored building with spacious rooms. There are two messes and one badminton court. For second year boys, there are two hostels: Patel and Tilak. They both need to be renovated. For third year boys, there are two more hostels, named Malaviya and Tendon. They are below average. For final year boys, in B.Tech there is a hostel named NBH (New Boys Hostel). It is just great in itself, equipped with every modern facility. It would be the best experience to live there. Yes, girl and boy’s hostels are at different places. Hostel fee for a year is Rs. 25,000 and mess fees for both semester or for a year is Rs. 50,000. There is time restriction for SVBH hostels, which is 10:30 PM. from second year onwards; there is as such no restriction. moreover for girls, time restriction is for all years which is 10:30 PM.Read Full Review

1. College has hostel facilities.
2. Final year hostel rooms are very spacious. 2 and 3 year rooms are very congested. 1st year have 3/4 seaters, 2nd and 3rd year have double seaters and single seaters for final year students. Also, some students from 3rd year with high CPI get bigger rooms.
3. Separate hostels for girls and boys. First year students also have separate hostels.
4. Mess food is average. Nothing special and nothing too bad.
5. Hostel fee - Rs.24,000/- per annum.
6. In-time for 1st Year boys -10.00 pm and for 1st Year girls – Rs.8.30pm. For 2nd year onwards, boys- no in time, for girls-10.00pm.Read Full Review
