Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Amethi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

There are two academic blocks in our institute. Each block is has upto 4 floors. Our campus size is 47 acres. Our institute is located in village area. In Each classroom, there is A.C. and projector. In each classroom 130 students can sit. Library is situated in academic block. It contains all books related to our syllabus. Each department has its own laboratory. There is a auditorium in our institute. There is a night canteen in our institute. A heath centre and an ambulance. Security is also good.

We are allowed to go out of institute until 8 PM. There are almost 2000 students in our institute. There is a Sports club, music club, and drama club. No, I am not a part of any these. At regular intervals, some sports activity or cultural activity is organized by these clubs. There are 3 fests in our institute. Campus size is decent with area spread over 49 acres. There is Library, Auditorium, Conference Hall, Academic block, RG plaza, Various labs and all necessary facilities. The campus is not too big. Regarding sports facilities it is limited to badminton court, tennis court, basketball court, table tennis court, cricket ground (small), football ground, etc. It is enough to enjoy the sport and relax a bit from academic stress. For students the night canteen opens from 10pm to 3am. During the day, Aunty's Cafe has delicious hygienic meals from morning till 8pm. There are lots of security guards and the campus is under surveillance 24x7. The campus is safe for girls as there are enough female security staff. The classrooms are enough for almost 150 students.

Institute’s crowd is pretty good with some really interesting fellows that you're going to meet. There are multiple events being conducted frequently including tech fest, 'URJOTSAV,' Sports fest, 'Energia' , Cultural fest, 'Kaltarang' where students from different Institutes visit to participate. Along with these there are multiple more fun events being conducted. There is Sports Club, Music Club, Dance club, Drama Club, Literary club, Film and Cinematography club etc. The campus is situated a bit outside the city life so it has fresh air and a healthy lifestyle. Students can go to Raebareli and Lucknow for city life benefits during weekends. Overall there is less distractions here for students. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology campus size is 49 acres. Institute is located outskirts of city. There is no proper market near the campus. There are small shops nearby. Campus is located in a village area. Library, labs of each branch, auditorium for function is present. In some classes seating capacity is 120. Institute has a separate ambulance facility for going to health center which is in campus. Institute also has its own bus facility for going to Raebareli on weekends. There is one cafeteria and one night canteen in institute. We also have a football ground in the campus.

Overall campus life is boring because there is no city life outside the campus. Institute crowd is approximately 2500. There is music club, dance club and film and media club in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology. Cultural fest-Altering, Urjotsav, and sports fest- Energia are organised in our institute. Energia occurs in February, Kaltrang in April and Urjotsav in November. There are various student chapter of each branch in our institute. There is a separate place provided to play Holi and burn crackers on Diwali. Holidays of 9 days are given on Holi and Dussehra.Read Full Review
