Pillai College of Engineering (formerly known as Pillai Institute of Information Technology, Engineering, Media Studies and Research) [PCE], Navi Mumbai was established in the year 1999 as an Autonomous Educational Institution. Formed under Mahatma Education Society, Pillai College of Engineering - PCE Navi Mumbai was established in 1999. This college has been accredited by NAAC, and approved by AICTE and Government of Maharashtra. It received affiliation from University of Mumbai, and has been recognised by UGC under section 2(f) & 12(b).

Admissions on the basis of Centralised Admission Process (CAP), and Institute Level Round, are provided to the candidates. Admission Process:
Through CAP Round
For admission through CAP Round, the candidates are required to apply for admission through State CET Cell Portal. Admission to such candidates will be provided on the basis of merit list prepared by the concerned authorities.
Through Institute Level Round
Students can apply for remaining seats after CAP Round, by following the process which is given below:
College will prepare a merit list on the basis of applications received, and candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of that merit list.
Students, who are pursuing their higher education from PCE Navi Mumbai, can receive benefits under various scholarship schemes.
