The academics are very good, providing a rigorous and comprehensive education that equips students with knowledge and skills necessary in the medical field. The college runs from 8 ‘o’ clock in the morning till 4:30 in the evening, in which there’s a lunch break of an hour in between. The schedule is pretty hectic, but as a medical student of course there are many hurdles to cross and all the hard work is to become an excellent doctor. You may experience some setbacks regarding the guest lecturers some of which we are forced to attend but it depends on the individual how much bothersome it could be. We have lectures in the morning and then there are clinical postings in which the students are divided into groups and posted into different departments. The patient inflow is adequate allowing students to learn and observe almost every common illness and many rare ones which they study in there textbooks. Students get to experience many new approaches in wards, OPDs and OT. But I may tell you the academics are very strict and you may get detained for non attendance of lectures and clinics.
