MREC classifies the seat allotment into two categories that are Seat ‘A’ Category and Seat ‘B’ Category. 70% of seats are reserved in Category ‘A’ which are filled by the eligible candidates on the basis of rank obtained in the EAMCET Examination. 30% of seats are reserved in Category ‘B’ which are filled by eligible candidates including other States / UT / NRI candidates on merit basis.
