University of Hyderabad (also known as Hyderabad University) [UOH], Hyderabad established in 1974 is a Central University, currently having 25th position in NIRF Ranking 2024 and 204 score out of 760 in QS Asia 2023. UOH Hyderabad is approved by AICTE and UGC, and is accredited by NAAC-A. University of Hyderabad came into existence in 1974 by an Act of Parliament as a Central University to deliver world-class and global level education to the young minds of the nation. UOH is approved by AICTE and UGC, and it is accredited by NAAC.

The admission is this university is open for all i.e. national and international students. However, candidates need to fulfill the admission criteria. The candidates applying for PG programs must have a degree of three years bachelors. To help the students with their career goals, the university has established an active Placement Cell. This cell works in enhancing the professional knowledge of the students and trains them for their future. It helps the students to get placed in renowned companies and organisations, and also helps the students in maintaining contact and links by organising seminars, conference, industry visits, webinars, etc. Every school of the university works accordingly in providing placement opportunities to the students in their respective field and maintains professional relations with the recruiting companies. This cell invites the companies for on-campus recruitment drives and helps the students in developing presentation skills, communicational skills, technical skills, and soft skills. Pre-placement talk sessions are also conducted to prepare the students for the HR rounds by organising mock interviews, GDs, and PI.

Located at CR Rao Road, Gachibowli, the campus of the university is spread in an area of 2300 acres. The infrastructure of the university is dynamic and caters to the academic needs of the students. University focuses on providing a ragging-free and comfortable campus environment to the students. Apart from this, the university has a Psychological Counselling Unit (PCU) that looks after the mental wellbeing of the students and guides them with their academic, personal, or professional issues. This unit is a part of Dean Student Welfare Office and expert counselors are present in the campus to look after the students.
