Sinhgad Law College was founded by Sinhgad Technical Education Society in 2003. It offers law courses (LL.B and B.A.LL.B) to students. These courses are approved by Bar Council of India (BCI) and affiliated with University of Pune. Moreover, the college is accredited by NAAC.

Sinhgad Law College provides various scholarships to students in order to assist them financially. It awards Merit Scholarships to meritorious students. It awards SC / ST / OBC / EBC / SBC Scholarships to students who belong to economically and socially backward sections. Sinhgad Law College has a Training and Placement Cell to assist its students in placement process. It conducts various placement activities such as training sessions, group discussions, pre-placement talks, etc. It also organises various skill development programs for students to improve their soft skills, interview skills, etc. It conducts career counselling programs for students. It organises industrial visits for students to NGOs, law firms, etc. It also facilitates internship opportunities to students.
It also organises campus recruitment program and some who visit the campus are Lex Eye, Talekar and Associated Law firm, etc.
Sinhgad Law College campus covers an area of more than 500 acres. It is surrounded by a green environment and peaceful atmosphere. Infrastructure of college constitutes spacious buildings. Apart from this, there are various committees like student welfare committee, cultural committee, anti-ragging cell, student council, legal aid cell, etc. These committees are managed by students. These committees conduct various extracurricular activities like blood donation camp, cultural programs, moot court competitions, plantation program, organ donation awareness, legal aid camp, etc. It also has NSS and NCC units.
Sinhgad Law College came into existence in the year 2003 with the aim to create, preserve and disseminate knowledge. The institute believes in the holistic development of students and this is achieved by assimilating unbiased work culture, unique value system, and excellent physical as well as academic environment that is adequate for transfer of creativity, learning, and technological up-gradation.
Academia is approved by the Bar Council of India and recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra. It is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule University of Pune. National Assessment and Accreditation Council has accredited Sinhgad law College with ‘B’ Grade.
The backbone of this institution is its library. The college has a rich collection of law books, reports, and journals that facilitate students and faculty in learning and teaching. These resources are also important for carrying out research projects. The reading halls of the library are open round the clock. There is an open access system to facilitate readers. As the library is a valuable resource of knowledge, institute upgrades and keeps it updated. E-Library is also available and students can use the resources online. Academia follows strict attendance rules. Candidates must have a minimum of 75% attendance in lectures and practical for appearing in the examination.
Sinhgad Law College offers law courses such as LL.B and integrated LL.B. It also offers diploma and certificate courses. Candidates willing to take admission have to appear in the MH-CET examination conducted by DHE.
