The institute provides entrance in the B.Tech program to those candidates who have qualified State Level / National Level Entrance Exams carried out by the concerned authorities.

The institute fills around 80% admission seats of B.Tech programs through WBJEE and the remaining 20% seats are filled up through JEE (Mains) and Management Quota. Admission on the 10% Management quota seats will be given to those candidates who have scored valid rank / scores in JEE (Mains) / WBJEE.
The institute also takes an additional 10% intake in B.Tech (Lateral) programs of the candidates who have cleared WB JELET.
