Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University was established as a National Law University in 2012 under Haryana State Legislature Act of 2012. In the year 2014, it was converted to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University. It was established with the purpose of serving the society by graduating law students with well rounded personalities, promoting legal awareness, ethical and cultural values, and enhancing the ability of the individuals to analyse the issues and legal implications for the betterment of the society. The University aims at the holistic development of the students and is committed to impart high quality legal education. It is a State University approved by UGC and recognised by BCI.

DBRANLU has an Internship and Placement Cell which provides career guidance and assistance to the students. The cell conducts pre-placement talks, mock interviews, aptitude tests, group discussions, workshops, seminars, guest lectures, etc. for the benefit of the students.
