C. V. Raman Global University

Established under the Odisha Act 01 of 2020, the C.V. Raman Global University also known as CGU Odisha was founded in 2020 in the city of Bhubaneswar by Shri Sanjib Kumar Rout.  The college has been accredited by NBA for some of its courses, approved by AICTE for the technical courses, and has been awarded NAAC ‘A’ Grade. As per NIRF, it has ranked among the top 100 engineering institutions in India from 2016 to 2021. Apart from this, the University has received many other awards.

The University provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and research-level (Ph.D.) courses in various faculties as follows: Engineering, Hotel Management, Agriculture, Management, Pharma.

The university aims to lead by example and offer higher education that is based on quality, the latest technologies, research, and learning. The University also works on sustainability through multiple practices and mediums such as renewable energy, energy conservation, waste management, tree plantation drive, carbon neutrality, and rainwater harvesting.

It was a partner institute in the ‘Study in India’ initiative conducted by the HRD ministry in 2020-21. It also contributes to the CSR activities such as Blood Donation Camp, SAFAL - Skill for All programs, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Literary Club Activity, A helping hand to Orphanages and Old Age Homes, etc. It has more than 20 start-ups under its Technology Business Incubator and Atal Incubation Centre.

Admission at the university is based on merit, especially for the technical and professional degree courses. The University holds C.V. Raman Global University All India Entrance Test as known as CGET. The admissions are also done based on other entrance tests such as JEE (Mains), OJEE, CAT, XAT, MAT, GATE, PGAT, ATMA, etc.

The eligibility criteria for appearing for the CGET entrance test are as follows:

The Admission Process is as follows:

• For Indian Students: Visit Home Page >> Click on Admissions tab >> Select National Admission >> Click on Counseling Form >> On the new page that opens, fill in the details including Courses, Entrance given, and Roll No., etc. and Register >> Make the payment via DD/UPI/RTGS/NEFT/Online Banking on the official college bank account as mentioned in the allotment letter.
• For International and NRI Applicants: Visit Home Page >> Click on Admissions tab >> Select National Admission >> Click on International Candidate Registration Form >> On the new page that opens, fill up the details for Registering with the Application Portal >> Complete the Online Application Form >> Upload Documents >> If eligible, the candidate will receive the Offer Letter >> Make payment and upload the receipt as proof >> Download the Acceptance Letter.
