This is 2nd oldest Engineering institute in India and is famous for its Civil branch. Placements are decent in CS and IT branch and average in core branches. Infrastructure of my institute needs to bring major changes as it is one of the oldest institutio

Placements in IIEST, Howrah is decent, if we compare it with lower NITs but not as good as top 15 NITs. Average package in CS and it department is 15-16 LPA which is decent and 14.2 LPA in ECE. But in core branches like Electrical Mechanical and Mining, the average package is 8-8.5 LPA and only 7.8 LPA in Civil.Read Full Review
