IIEST Shibpur Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

There are 2 academic buildings where classes for every year are running. 1st is Science and Technology building and 2nd is Main Building. Science and Technology Building classes are for 1st year boys and girls and mainly officially works are running there. In the main building, classes of all the years from 2nd to 4th year are running and PG classes. Others buildings are also there for clubs and societies which is running by students. One Institute Hall is made for all programs and functions. Many other Building for other purposes.

Campus life is good. Besides studies, there are 17 club activities in which different type of competitions and many fests are organized. Every month, at least 2 to 3 fests are organized and approximately every festival is celebrated in the institute. ‘Rebecca’ is oldest cultural fest and ‘Instro’ is Techno Management fest of our institute. This institute has all types of infrastructure, be it for Classrooms, Galleries, Different types of laboratories for different departments, High performance Computer Labs, Libraries, Canteens as well as Grounds. There is a Main administrative building and every department have their own space all connected through series of hallways. Every modern amenity is present in the campus. Some are old, some are new.

Campus of IIEST is 127 acres in size with lush green trees all around. The campus life starts to shine after 6 pm. A lot of fests happen here all round the year, including tech fests, departmental fests, club's fests and most memorable of them all the Cultural fest known as Rebecca. Institute has a lot of clubs venturing in different fields and everyone is free to join in as many clubs as they want. Academic blocks: There are mainly two buildings. One is called main building and another one S&T building. The main building contains all the departments and it has separate segment divided for each department. Mainly, All the official work, classes of first years, and PG classes are in the S&T building. Main building is an old building but, S&T is a new building. Apart from these two, there are two others buildings also called Amenity & Slayer's Hall. These are used by various clubs of the Institute.

Campus life: The campus is full of greenery which makes the Institute beautiful. It is very close to Kolkata city which is another advantage.
Clubs: There are many clubs and societies for dance, music, robotics, quiz, coding, literature, photography, videography, drama, painting, craft, etc.
Fests: There is a cultural fest called 'Rebecca' which is held annually. Apart from that, various clubs organise their own events like 'muse' by dance club, 'Robodarshan' by Robotics club.
