IIEST Shibpur Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Infrastructure is little old but steps are being taken from past 3 months to renovate it. Campus area is around 114 acres. Classroom has seating capacity around 100. There is one library and 2 canteens. There is one hospital also. One favorite thing in infrastructure is clock tower that looks too pretty. Campus is very green and you can see lots of trees here+ 3 lakes also.

Overall campus life is good. There are lots of clubs like Camera Buff, Reflex Beta, Robo Darshan, Euphony, and many more. One can join any club depending on his or her interest. Annual fest includes Rebecca that happens in April. In February, we have annual athletic sports meet, where anyone can participate. Our campus infrastructure is good. We have a historical clock tower and a guesthouse for parents where they can stay in institute. We have 5 canteens and more classrooms. We have a 7 storied building and main academic building and we have many trees in our institute. Campus sized of this institute is around 117 acres.

My campus life in IIEST Shibpur is too good. We can enjoy a lot here mostly in fests. We have many fests like departmental fests and festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, Sankranti, and Dussehra here are celebrated. We also organize two-day institute annual fest named ‘Rebecca’. For first year students there are three hostels respectively such as hostel 8, Hostel 9 and Hostel 10. Each hostel has their own mess area for dining. Since this is too old, many buildings need to be renovated and repaired. The facilities in the hostels are also not up to the mark.

One thing which I like regarding my institute is the campus life because you can find greenery everywhere around you and ponds in the campus surroundings which you can enjoy and chill while walking on the roads in the campus. There are many hangout places nearby the institute such as Ganga Ghat where all people go to see the best sunset.Read Full Review
