Since its establishment in 1967, The Lajpat Rai College is driven with a goal to provide top notch academic experience to its students with a potential for excellence. The college runs its courses under the affiliation of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut (CCSU), is approved by UGC under section 2(f) and accredited with grade ‘B’ by NAAC.

The college offers various UG / PG courses in various streams of Arts, Science and Commerce such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, MA, M.Sc, M.Com, etc. The college also offers Doctorate courses in Arts and Science streams.

The college conducts admissions through the common admission process under the CCSU. The eligibility criteria for the admissions in the undergraduate courses include clearance of higher secondary with minimum 33% in related subjects varying for different courses whereas students require a collective score of 45% (with mandatory 50% in graduation) for the postgraduate programs. The college provides a 5% relaxation for reserved category in all courses. Interested students can follow the steps given below:
