To enhance the employability experience and opportunity among the students, the university has established a Placement Cell. This cell is responsible for fulfilling the overall professional experience and needs of the students. The major objective of this cell is to train the students so that they can become professional individuals with values and skills. National seminars, conferences, and workshops are organised on a regular basis to provide the students with a platform where they can communicate with industry professionals in person. Regular Career Counselling is also provided to the students so that they could opt for a fine career option without any second thoughts. In addition to this, internship programs are also offered to the students which help them in gaining on-field experience and knowledge.

Located at Choglamsar, Leh, the campus of the university is spread over an area of 27 acres and its infrastructure is modern and built keeping in mind the various needs and requirements of the academic environment. To provide the students with a safe and sound environment, the university has a Counselling Centre which is committed to solving the problems of the students related to their career and personal life. The environment of the university is student-friendly with well-built and spacious classrooms; Wi-Fi enabled campus, a museum with collections of arts, antiques, photographs, etc., a guest house, and many other major amenities and services like:

• Library: To provide academic support and knowledge to the students, the university has established a library known as Sherab Gyasched Tasal Library. This library is spacious, well-lit, and is stocked with various books, cultural artifacts, and other resources. There are more than 38000 books, 30+ subscribed national & international journals, 200+ volumes, rare xylography of Bhoti texts, documents & reading materials related to Buddhist literature, history, and culture, etc. A digital library section is also available for students with computer systems and a smooth internet connection. The library also provides other services to the students like photocopying and printing.
• Hostel: The University has excellent accommodation facilities for monks, girls-nuns, and boys coming from far away locations. There are three well-furnished, spacious, well-maintained, and clean hostels with a capacity of 90+ students in each hostel. The safety and security of the hostellers are in the hands of hostel wardens. Mess facility is provided to the students with excellent cooks who serve delicious and healthy food to the hostellers.
• Sports: CIBS believes that for the overall development of students, sports is very important and therefore, it offers space for various indoor and outdoor sports and gaming facilities to the students. The students of the university learn and play various games under the observation of expert trainers and coaches. The students of the university also take part in various tournaments, events, and competitions at district and state level. Some games present on the campus are Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Handball, Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, etc. CIBS also organises Athletics and Marathons for the students and it is equipped with all the gaming equipment and tools.
• Auditorium: The University has an ultra-modern auditorium that carries out various activities like award shows, annual functions, conferences, cultural fests, etc. The auditorium can accommodate more than 650 people in one go and the seating area is also very comfortable.
• Health Facilities: To provide professional medical health facilities to the students, the university has established a dispensary. It is stocked with medicines and necessary equipment. A part-time doctor with expert nurses visits the campus every alternate day for routine check-ups and for any medical emergency.
• Other Facilities: Conference Hall, Debate Hall, Canteen, etc.
